I am an artist in Seattle and I have done a painting entitled: Spring
1995 -- Oklahoma City. I wish to share it with anyone because it is
simple. It is not for sale ... one day I shall donate it to someone who
really wants it.
It is the white bright silhuette of two children, a boy and a girl. The
boy is bent over what appears a partition separating a bright region
above from a dark region below and he is stretching his hand with a
crum toward two baby birds, in a nest, ready to be fed. The little
girl is leaning over the partition and one of the hands is resting
gently near the birds (with beaks open).
I dedicate this work to the parents who lost their kids and wish to
tell them that somewhere in that beautiful spring out there, in some
magical unreasonable way, some abandoned baby birds are being tended
to by the innocent angels of Oklahoma City.

I am a french speaking "quebecois" from Montreal so excuse my
english.
Five years ago i was a studying law at University of Montreal
and on the evening of the Polytechnique Scool massacer i was
attending class on the campus.
Belive me, what happend this week at Oklahoma city reminded me
some very bad memories.
I can tell you that with time it is possible to forget.
But there is one thing that must not be forgotten.
In both cases innocents were killed and there must be
something done about it.
Is gun control the solution?
It may be!
Because those events proved what qiving weapons to the wrong
peoples can do.
But for now the message i would like to send to Oklahoma city
citizen is qive youself some time.

Canadians send their sympathies and thoughts to the people of Oklahoma City.
We were shocked and horrified at your sad news. It is too bad that some
people just don't get it and feel that there problems can be solved in
such a stupid and unproductive way. Don't let this fringe group, whoever
they are, intimidate you or take away your joy to life. They are the
ones who must be controlled and forced to live in fear, not the people of
your city or country. Keep smiling and remember that the world has you in
their thoughts. A friend in the North.

To the Citizens of Oklahoma:
It is during this sad and terrible period in the city of
Oklahoma's history that the Democratic Progressive Party of
Taiwan would like to express our deepest sympathy and support
for the citizens of Oklahoma. Our heart-felt condolences go
out to the families and friends of the scores of innocent
people who have perished on Wednesday, April 19, 1995.
The Democratic Progressive Party condemns the cowardlice manner
in which any citizen or group chooses to express their disagreement
with the State. The use of terrorist tactics to gain publicity
or dialogue is opposed by the democracy seeing people of Taiwan.
The loss of so many Oklahoma citizens as well as the loss of so
many innocent children due to this heinous attack is a heavy
burden for any city to bear. Our thoughts and prayers are with
you during this tragic period.

OUR HEARTS AND SOULS GO OUT TO YOU!!
Our world will never be quite the same again. We were able
to see the devastation and witness the rescue efforts as they
were happening thanks to the incredible media coverage surrounding
the terrorist bombing in your beautiful city. I am holding
onto my family and telling them how much I love them, How
much I want to keep them safe. But, sometimes,I guess it is
out of our hands. Our nation will be closer, much the same
as your city and state have become closer over the last few days.
Your efforts and strife will be remembered. Your city will
be remembered as well, not as the site of this terrible
tragedy, but as the city that lived, and healed, AND as a city
of HEROES. GOD be with you.

Like for millions of Americans, the disaster of Oklahoma City has
permanently changed me. As a mother of two, fourth grade teacher of 27,it
is unfathomable to me how any individual so callously could intentionally
harm a child. The children that persished in the bombing became all of our
children last week. For we are all suffering the painful loss of those
precious babies.
I, like millions of Americans, have watched, wepted and prayed that there
would be just one more survivor. We pray for you Oklahoma and are proud of
your actions and admire your strength.
In a way this horrible event sent a message long overdue to all
mankind...it's time to slow down our frantic paced lives and love and care
for one another just a little bit more.

FOOTPRINTS
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with
THE LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he
noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one beloned to him and the other
to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked
back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path
of his life there was only one set of footprints. That he had noticed only
happened at the very lowest and saddest time in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, you said
that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have
noticed that during the most troblesome times in my life, there is only one
set of footprints. I don't understand why when I really need you the most you
would leave me." The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and
I would never leave you. During the times of trial and suffering, when you see
only one set of footprints, IT WAS THEN THAT I CARRIED YOU.

their condolences as well. This is certainly a time for all decent

My deepest sympathy!
I am a junior in high school in a small town on the Maine- New
Hampshire border (Bethel). When I first heard about the bombing I
was shocked! I never thought that anyone would bomb any part of the
US...... It just doesn't happen.
I guess I was wrong. Basically I just wanted to let everyone who lost
loved ones in the Federal building, that we are hurt and suffering, too.
When I think about all the kids who died, it really makes me angry
and very emotional. I just hope that the FBI finds the other man
supposedly involved. Well, that's all for now.
