Instructions for using shared-cart and InFocus Projector

Note to all users VCR, Mac, or IBM before powering down the InFocus projector please use the standby button to cool the lamp!

VCR

• Press the POWER button on the VCR
• Turn on the InFocus projector
• Insert tape, play etc. using the VCR controls
• Remove tape at the end of the presentation and turn the VCR power off.

Macintosh

• If you are going to require or use a network connection
  • Connect the network cable to the jack on the side labeled Mac and also to wall jack
  • Place A/B switch on the "B" position for Mac use
• Press the power on button on the top right of Mac keyboard
• Turn on the InFocus projector after starting the Mac
• The Welcome to At Ease!; screen appears
• Select Pharmacy, leave the Password field empty and click the OK button
• To shut down the Mac system, select File:Go to At Ease, select Shut Down and the Mac will power down

IBM

• If you are going to require or use a network connection
  • Connect the network cable to the jack on the side labeled PC and also to wall jack
  • Place A/B switch on the "A" position for PC use
• Press the concave power button located in the center of the face plate of the PC
• Turn on the InFocus projector after starting the PC
• At the completion of boot-up process press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to log on
• At the logon information screen, Username enter guest; leave the Password blank; Domain select Shared Cart NT by using the drop down arrow **
• Select the OK button
• This will complete the logon process
• To exit and logoff select the Start button at the lower left of the screen
• Choose Shut Down; then choose Shut down the computer?; and then choose the Yes button.
• At this time a dialog box will appear that reads It is now safe to turn off your computer or a Restart button, press the concave power button on the front of the computer to turn it off.

  ** Users that are more familiar with the NT environment may choose to logon as themselves using their NT accounts. At the Username enter your userid; Password enter password; Domain select OUHSC using the drop down arrow.

Note to all users VCR, Mac, or IBM before powering down the InFocus projector please use the standby button to cool the lamp! The cooling fan will slow after a few minutes. The longer you can let the projector cool the better.

Lower the projector carefully by HOLDING THE HANDLE and pressing the adjustment button. Move the cart slowly and carefully, especially across the brick floor in the building.
